Insulin Pump

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. I'm a type 1 diabetic who has been using insulin and I am considering trying out the insulin pump if my health insurance will cover it. I'm getting tired of using the regular injections. There is a research company in San Diego that is doing a really neat study about insulin pumps that was very interesting. I found it to be very informative and educational. If you want to do the study email info@luthresearch.com. And they will let you know when it can be completed. Is the insulin pump in general convenient and easy to use? Let me know how it works exactly.

i have a oump and love it. it

i have a oump and love it. it so much easier. get your doc to write a letter of neccisity and your insurence should cover it and the supplies. you dont feel a thing and it doesnt hurt at all. it is so much better then shots. i was taking up to 10 shots a day on lantus and humalog. i think youll like the pump. the only thing is its a lot of math but its easy math.

Hey. I'm about to start on

Hey. I'm about to start on pump therapy and I have kind of a dumb question.....I know you can't get an x-ray or MRI with the pump on, but what about tanning beds? Should you disconnect completely or just leave the pump lay outside the bed?
