Do I have Diabetes?
I got sick last November and I lost about 10-15 lbs, and I had a fever and a headache and such. I didn't wanna eat. I thought it was the flu. Those were my main symptoms. Fast Forward to this summer, My appetitite decreased as time went on when in the past I used to eat like a pig. and lately, in the past few weeks, I have been extra thirsty and having to go to the bathroom more. I have been tired and weak and I have been having headaches almost everyday. I can't sleep and Im not as hungry as I used to be. I just feel ill mostly at nights and fine during the days. Should i go get tested?

I would get tested...Sounds kind of like diabetes, but my expiernece was different..more like i just got sick, and sicker, and sicker until I almost died...

Yes, it is possible. When my girlfriends glucose level is elevated she has to use the restroom a lot. She gets a headache when it comes back down again that will last for days. Also if you do have diabetes and you let your sugar get high enough to affect you this way you are probably going to go into what is called ketoacidosis and that is poison for you. So check it just to rest your mind. And when your having these symptoms till then..... Drink lots of fluids, and no sweets.....

i would get tested as it sounds very much like diabetis, but it also has the ring of thyroid problems, as they both have the same sort of symtems in some people.
anyway good luck. lets hope it is just a little thing.
