I am the same age and having the same problem. I know I am not hurting anyone but myself. I am a widow so there is no husband to cook for or eat with. I should be able to do this.
Are you on meds? I am not and trying not to go on them. My weight is going up instead of down like the doctor wants.
Hi, I am very sorry to hear
Hi, I am very sorry to hear your husband is not tuned in to your condition. Having emotional support and someone who is understanding helps a great deal in dealing with this disease.
I have to say that I am blessed in regards to my husband. HE is very attentive and understanding of this. He knows it is very difficult for me and tries to be supportive. Sometimes overly so.
If you need someone to just exchange some messages with and talk to help you in this, I am here.
I have been out of control on my sugars of late and have been pretty sick. I am currently trying to get the dosages right with injections. Its a struggle.
I think for me the most difficult part of this is having my life controlled. God helps me in many a moment. Stress is a killer with diabetes. At all costs, please try to put yourself first to remain calm.
I wish you much luck. Hope to hear from you again. I will be looking for your messages.
