I am in my forties. Type II diabetic. Have the disease for 10 years now. I try to keep --not always successfully -- my blood sugar levels under control through balanced diet and exercise.
I monitor my blood sugar levels using a LifeScan One Touch II glucometer -- manufacturer Johnson & Johnson. In India where I live, the test strips dont come cheap. In fact they are so heavy on my purse that I am forced to limit my use of the glucometer.
Would any one reading this make a gesture of sending me some quantities of test strips (LifeScan). I know for a fact that in the US and elsewhere the strips are quite cheap, only I do not know anyone close enough who would be willing to send them.
