i'm only 13 but i've been taking lantus for a while and its a lot better than Nph and regular (which is what i was taking before) and if there are any side effects tahn i haven't noticed and no one has mentiond them to me lol.....good luck

Hi im from the uk, iv been on Latis since last september. it has changed my life, I dont get as many hypo's as i use to. I have not noticed any side affects. But the dose you need can change oevr night.

Hi i read about you question for lantus. I take lantus I and it has helped me A LOT and i have had no side effects i take mine at bed time and i have had better control i have been instructed by my pharmacist not to mix lantus in the same suringe as any other inslin but thats all i hope you get the answers you are looking for you can ask you pharmictst and doc too!!

hey i take lantus the only bad thing thats appened to me is scar tissue and thats my fault it work a lot better for me i was really out of control but its gettin better any q"s ask

I have had diabetes for a couple of years and been on lantus for about 7 months. i have had no problems with lantus and i find it much better then the insulin i was on. I only have to take it once before i go to bed and it works all the next day. I still have to take novolog when i eat but it is better then having to mix and adjust my other insulins. i have had no side effects, though i can' t speak for other people. i wish you the best of luck with whatever you choose.
