Before I was diagnosed I had put on a lot of weight which I have tried everything since to lose. I am so discouraged at this point.I saw this product advertized called micro-cal which is all natural the main ingredient is navy bean. Apparently they discovered cows were losing weight eating these plants, instead of putting on the beef.Since I have tried everything else low carb, high carb , weight watchers etc and nothing has worked I want to try this. Has anyone had any success on this product????

I've never heard of this product. It sounds like it does have some positive effects in the direction of weight loss; but I don't think you'll find your answer in a pill. No, the most important key to weight loss, no matter who you are, is commitment. I've heard time and time again people say "I've tried this diet and it just doesn't work", or "I've exercised in the past and I'm just not seeing any results". The question you have to ask yourself is "How long have I been doing this?" Or even "how much?" This isn't going to happen over night. If you're looking for the quick solution, the fact of the matter is, there is no quick solution to wait loss. If there was, nobody would diet, nobody would exercise, they would just take their miracle pill and be on their way.
To be successful with a diet all you have to do is follow these basic rules:
1.When people start there diet they tend to walk before they crawl. You need to realize that you are only human, and you will have those basic cravings for your favorite foods. You need not to eliminate, but rather limit yourself. For example, if you love pizza, limit your self to eating pizza ONLY on the weekends. By committing to your diet for that week, you can reward yourself with something you love. Do this with any and all of your favorite fattening foods. People tend to forget that they are only human, and when you don't reward yourself every now and again, you will give in. Then you'll feel like you've failed at this diet and you will give up. Now remember, this will only work if you are consistant. Once you get this down you want to move to the second step......exercise.
Now, right off you need to understand that you don't have to kill yourself exercising. People will make the mistake of going to the gym and working there bodies to there full capabilites. Even when a person is well in shape, they will not do this to themselves. If you do this you WILL NOT last. They say that running is one of the best exercises you can do, but running isn't for everybody; especially if you're out of shape. The best exercise you can do is walk.(arobic walking) 20 min. out of your day is all it would take. A lot of people would probably say that walking would not get them the results they are looking for; which is true, if you do not commit to this, you won't see any results. Remember though, that the people who say this are the people that try it for a week and give up. Once your body gets use to this, it will seem easy. Which is why it is important to follow through with the final step,challenging yourself.
Once your everyday exercise becomes easy for you it is time then to make it more challenging. If you've been walking for the past month for 20 min a day at 4mph, try walking faster. It's as simple as that.
So lets recall; First you have to commit yourself to your diet. If you don't, you won't find the results you're looking for.
Second, when dieting, crawl before you walk. Remember that you are only human and you need to reward yourself for sticking to your diet.
Third, when exercising it's important not to over due it. Over due it and you will quit.
Lastly, Challenge yourself. If it becomes easy, you are no longer working your body.

I have been on a low cal
I have been on a low cal count for 6 months now and I'm followed by a dietician. I have lost exactly 1 pound and am so discouraged I don't even want to go weigh in any more. I thankyou for the advice it makes a lot of sense to me intellectually but emotionally I have a hard time to deal with the weight.The only exercise I'm able to get at the moment is at pysiotherepy as I had a bad accident and believe me they give me quite a workout. I'm almost totally vegetarian at this point and am not allowed sweets except the fruit on my diet. I feel deprived and fat.At this point I no longer Know what to do.

That is a very good message. I would love to find a "pill" that melts my fat, energizes my metabolism, all the while I still am eating what I want to. Unfortuantely, there is no "easy" fix to losing weight. Walking is excellent exercise and so is drinking 8 glasses of water per day.

I have found two things to help me.
1. (Nutra Trim 7). It is a diet booster tablet made by Vitamin Power. You can order directly from them at about a 50% savings.
2. The other you will find hard to belive but it works and I ask my doctor about it. that is to take a bath with ebsom salt for at least 20 min. My doctor said it drew the excess fluid out of the body. the first time I did this I lost 5lbs just from taking a bath.

My nahe is Jim I have not tried your pills but they sound like they might work. My doctor put me on a dite once he told me that I should eat some type of beans every day and that green beans were the best. He said if you boil green beans the tea that is left one cup is equal to one cc of insuline. I also mentioned yesterday that I had taken a pill that had helped me it is nutra trim 7 by Vitamin Power also by taking it my suger leveled out in the normal range. there phone # is 1-800-645-6567. I ran into a friends
I ran into a friends grandmother in Manhattan last year. She has been a diabetic for many years. She used to be on insulin. I say used to be because she tried and herbal mixture from mexico and after 2 years she stopped taking insulin (upon her doctors advise).

I am having that problem trying to drop 65 pounds I walk 3 miles a day and lift weights as well 3 days a week plus I take
Flax seed oil 4000mg per day. and I have gained 5 pounds and lost O
My Doctors say drop the weight but don't tell me how they also say that Humulin N and Humulin R stop you from droping the weight. Is there anything more I can do .... HELP !
